WBO orders rematch between Espinoza and Ramirez

World Boxing Organization have ordered a rematch between featherweight titleholder Rafael Espinoza (25-0, 21 KOs) and Cuba’s Robeisy Ramirez (14-2, 9 KOs). Mexico’s Espinoza defeated Ramirez in December last year via majority decision and took the title.

According to a letter that WBO sent to both camps on September 4, they have 15 days negotiations time. If terms not agreed then will come to a purse bid. The minimum bid for the fight would be 150,000 $.
