Young talents will compete at the 39th Feliks Stamm Memorial Tournament
The 39th edition of the Feliks Stamm Memorial Tournament will take place in Kielce, Poland in the upcoming days together with the 3rd Boxing Expo.
Kielce was the host of the 2021 edition of the Youth World Boxing Championships and the city organized several other competitions in the recent years.
Mr. Feliks Stamm was a legendary boxing coach in Poland who built up fantastic teams in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. These boxers earned several medals and titles for Poland in the Olympic Games and in the European Boxing Championships making that period as the golden era for the country.
Poland has excellent women’s boxing team and among their top athletes, Wiktoria Rogalinska (54kg), Sandra Drabik (57kg), Sandra Kruk (60kg), Oliwia Toborek (75kg) and Agata Kaczmarska (+81kg) all will be competing in the Feliks Stamm Memorial.
Armenia, Azerbaijan, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Lithuania and Trinidad & Tobago are also sending strong teams to Kielce.
Moldova’s multiple medallist Daria Kozorez could be a highlight in the event, while the new generations of Polish male boxers such as Nikolas Pawlik, Bartlomiej Roskowicz and Jakub Straszewski are all attending in Kielce.
The last 38th edition of the Feliks Stamm Memorial Tournament was held in the historic city of Pultusk on May 2023 which was a preparation for the European Games.
The finals of the 39th Feliks Stamm Memorial Tournament will be broadcasted by the Polish National Television.
