Nina Meinke new IBF World champion

Nina Meinke (19-3) is the new IBF World featherweight champion. Meinke on Saturday night (September 21) in Hamburg defeated Daniela Romina Bermudez (35-5-3) of Argentina via majority decision in the fight for vacant title.

“I can’t believe it. Is a dream come true. I’m very happy”, said 31-year-old Meinke.

For the first time in Europe a fight in women’s boxing was held in 12×3 rounds like in men’s division.

In co-main event Peter Kadiru (19-1) won the IBF Inter-Continental heavyweight title. He defeated Djuar El Scheich (22-1-1) via TKO in round five.
