Lozano, Escobar, Vozneacovschii and Cesar all won their finals in Mostoles

Spain’s duo Rafael Lozano and Gabriel Escobar, additionally Moldova’s Stefan Vozneacovschii and France’s Yojerlin Cesar all amazed in the male finals at the 2nd Enrique Rodriguez Cal Memorial Tournament in Mostoles, Spain.

Spain’s Olympian, Oier Ibarreche was trying to keep his Moldovan opponent, Stefan Vozneacovschii on long in the next battle of the southpaw talents. The Spaniard suffered a surprise loss in the final of the light welterweight (63.5kg), his 21-year-old Moldovan opponent knocked him out.

England’s Odel Kamara had a tight success in the first competition day but following that success, he was unstoppable for his opponents. His teammate, Rio Gordon was not able to catch him therefore Kamara defended his throne at the Enrique Rodriguez Cal Memorial.

Yojerlin Cesar is one of the best French elite male boxers despite his age of 20 and the European U22 Champion looked focused against England’s Kyle Shaw-Tullin. The French light heavyweight (80kg) boxer was brilliant from the first seconds and he claimed his next international title.

Teagn Stott and Montenegro’s Petar Lijesevic met in a fantastic final at the cruiserweight (86kg) which was delivered a 3:2 triumph for the English boy. A neutral boxer, Adrian Fresneda made a great return in the second round and he defeated Isaac Okoh at the heavyweight (92kg) while Damar Thomas won the last fight of the event.
