Altogether 593 boxers from 73 nations are competing at the IBA Youth World Boxing Championships

The Technical Meeting of the IBA Youth World Boxing Championships featured in the Hotel Budva today afternoon.

The IBA Sports Director Mr. Marko Petric introduced the officials of the Technical Meeting and he mentioned the nice hospitality of the championship.

The opening speech of the Montenegro Boxing Association Mr. Aleksandr Klemenko started the Technical Meeting and he underlined the unity of the sport and the huge number of participants in this superb championship.

Mr. Wayne Rose of Australia is the Technical Delegate of the IBA Youth World Boxing Championships in Budva who introduced the most important competition related topics, the participation status, the weights, the eligibility, the competition venue, the schedule, the lack of seeding, the official draw, the missing bout review, the medical and anti-doping procedure, the media relations, the medal ceremonies and the code of conduct.

The roll call confirmed that Afghanistan, Albania, Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Chile, Columbia, Croatia, Cuba, Cyprus, Czechia, DR Congo, DPR Korea, Ecuador, Estonia, France, French Polynesia, Georgia, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Guinea, Hong Kong, Hungary, IBA Neutral, Ireland, Israel, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lesotho, Lithuania, Malta, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, Nepal, New Zealand, North Macedonia, Pakistan, Palestine, Paraguay, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Romania, Russia, Samoa, Serbia, Slovakia, Sierra Leone, Slovenia, South Africa, Seychelles, Spain, Tajikistan, Trinidad & Tobago, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Venezuela are the countries in Budva.

Altogether 73 nations and 593 boxers are participating in the IBA Youth World Boxing Championships in Budva which makes the event the biggest competition of the globe this year. The number of the female boxers is 180 while 413 men are participating in Budva.
