Fury expects to knock out Usyk in the rematch

Former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) expects to knock out Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) in their rematch on December 21 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

In their first encounter, which was held on May 18 and was for undisputed heavyweight title, Usyk defeated Fury via split decision (114:113, 113:114 and 115:112). In that fight Fury was counted once in round nine.

The fight on December 21 will be for WBC, WBO, WBA and IBO world titles.

Today was held the press conference, and Fury promised a KO victory.

“I have to be a little bit more focused and smart to get the victory,” said Fury at a news conference in London on Wednesday. “My rematches with people, I always end up knocking them out, so I’m envisaging something similar against Usyk.”

Usyk showed in the press conferences as “Hitman”. He took from suitcase a poster in which is seen him hitting Fury and the British heavyweight to sign, which Fury did.

Usyk joked that he would put it on eBay but otherwise gave the briefest of answers as the two went head to head for the first time before they collide in Riyadh on December 21.
