Iglesias stops Ivanov, defends IBO World title

Cuba’s Osleys Iglesias (13-0, 12 KO’s) defended his IBO World super-middleweight title. Iglesias on Thursday night defeated Ukraine’s Petro Ivanov (18-1-2) via technical knockout in round five.

Iglesias dropped Ivanov with a two-punch combination. Although Ukrainian got back to his feet, referee decided to stop the fight.

In co-main event Dzmitry Asanau (9-0) won the WBC Continental Americas lightweight title, defeating Matias Carlos Adrian Rueda (38-3) via TKO in round five.

Jhon Orobio (12-0) stopped Jacopo Colli (9-1-1) in round one. Steven Butler (35-5-1) also went fast and stopped Fernando Ezequiel Farias in first round. Wilkens Mathieu (12-0) won via TKO round four against Marcos Nicolas Karalitzky.
