Davis destroys Lemos, feels ready for a world title fight
Keyshawn Davis (12-0, 8 KOs) feels he is ready for a world title fight after convincing victory against Argentina’s Gustavo Daniel Lemos (29-2). Davis on Friday night in Norfolk, USA, stopped Lemos in second round in the fight for IBF Inter-Continental and WBO Inter-Continental lightweight titles.
After the fight he called out WBA champion Gervonta Davis and WBO champion Denys Berinchyk.
Fight between Davis and Lemos was for WBO title eliminator.
“I honestly thought Lemos was going to put up a stronger challenge than Berinchyk but I knocked him out in the second round, so we’ll see what Berinchyk’s got to put up”, Davis said.
“A world title is definitely going to be next. 2025, we’ve got big, big plans for everybody in the boxing world.
“Hey Gevonta – knock, knock.”
