Gjergjaj sidelined with injury, EBU title fight off

Swiss-Kosovan heavyweight Arnold “The Cobra” Gjergjaj (38-3) had to cancel his EBU European title fight against Ukraine’s, Oleksandr Zakhozhyi (19-0) because of an elbow injury.

Gjergjaj was supposed to fight Zakhozhyi on November 23 in Germany. He informed in social media that he injured his left elbow during sparring session.

“I’m very disappointed with this situation”, Gjergjaj said.
