Four Hungarian junior and youth national titles won by Székelyföld

The Hungarian Boxing Championships for youth and junior categories took place in Székesfehérvár from November 21–24. The event saw the participation of 404 athletes from 86 clubs. The Erdélyi GODAKO Boxing Sports Club secured third place in the rankings, finishing the competition with four gold, one silver, and one bronze medal.

It was a busy week for the Erdélyi GODAKO Boxing Sports Club. Following Csiki Róbert’s achievement of reaching the semifinals at the HELL Boxing Kings tournament as the club’s first senior competitor, the team also earned several valuable medals at the Hungarian Championships.

GODAKO entered the championships with nine competitors, including three athletes who were competing in official matches for the first time. All of them faced the challenge with enthusiasm and determination, performing excellently in line with their current level of preparation.

In the junior 60kg category, Tallósi Vanessza won a gold medal. In the same weight class, Búzás Róbert emerged victorious among the boys.
Also in the junior category, Fazakas István (63kg) claimed a silver medal, while Csillag Szabolcs (48kg) took home a bronze.

The youth competitors achieved a flawless performance, with Benedek Péter (57kg) and Mailát András (63.5kg) both securing championship titles.

In addition to the medalists, GODAKO fielded three other junior competitors: Tankó Benjamin (50kg), Kabucz Sebestyén (57kg), and Bogyor Dávid (70kg).

At the conclusion of the Hungarian Championships, coach Árpád Huszár expressed satisfaction with the results, as the club he leads was ranked as the third most successful in the competition.

He also highlighted the performance of Búzás Róbert, who won in an exceptionally challenging field. Similarly, Fazakas István and Tallósi Vanessza deserve every praise, according to their coach.

In conclusion, Árpád Huszár emphasized that this competition confirmed the effectiveness of their training system.
