Australia and many new nations joined the upcoming Golden Girl Box Cup but the registrations are still open until end of January

Three-hundred female boxers are already registered to participate in the upcoming 15^th Golden Girl Box Cup in Boras, Sweden and the registrations are still far from its end.

The next 15^th edition of the strong Golden Girl Box Cup will take place in Boras, Sweden between January 30 and February 3 in 2025.

Team Australia also joined the event for the very first time, the country is planning to send seven elite boxers to the competition.

The Hungarians will return to the Golden Girl after a few years of break with their multiple National Champion Szabina Szucs in the line-ups. Spain will also send boxers to the Golden Girl which country progressed a lot in the recent years.

Norway’s Youth World Champion and Olympian Sunniva Hofstad also confirmed her participation in the next edition of the Golden Girl Box Cup and she could be one of the stars in the entire event.

Her teammate from Norway, the current Golden Girl from 2024, Norway’s Madeleine Angelsen is planning to defend her throne in the next 15^th edition and she can expect strong opponents in Boras. The third top Norwegian will be Francine Ahadi Lukungu at the women’s elite minimumweight (48kg) in South Sweden.

Mona Husac is Sweden’s new hope at the women’s welterweight (66kg), she developed rapidly in the recent two years and she will be aiming also a title in the upcoming competition.

The next generation of elite boxers such as Czechia’s Claudia Totova, France’s 19-year-old Kaelya Mopin, her teammate, the Youth World silver medallist Tallya Brillaux, and England’s Shelby-Marie Lee are already registered.

England’s Georgie Wilson, France’s Tania D’Almeida, Netherlands’ German U17 Open winner Liz Thijssen, and Czechia’s European Junior Champion Viktorie Jilkova are already registered to the youth competition.

The stars from England’s junior team, their European Champions, winners from various events as the 15-year-old Lily Bassett, Jaya Kalsi and Ellie Spencer are also on the entry list which is far from its final version.
