The Hungarian Boxing Association seeks a top trainer for the national team

The Hungarian Boxing Association launched a new tender to find a professional trainer to the position of the Hungarian national team coach.

The tender for this Hungarian position was launched in the beginning of December and all of the coaches and participants must be sent their CVs with photographs, copies of the certifications and the applications at latest until January 10, 2025.

A minimum of 10 years of routine in boxing management, the highest possible educational degrees, language skills, negative criminal record and category of B driving are must be but the experience in sport-related funding is also an advantage.

The main duties of the best applicant will be the supervision of the professional preparation of the Hungarian national team, successful participation in the competitions, reporting his activities to the Board of the Hungarian Boxing Association regularly.

The team coach have to plan the training camps, the development programs, work with the Board of the HBA, the Vice-President, the event planning, to find the other staff members of the coaching team, implementation of state-supported programs and any special requests from the Hungarian officials.

The new President of the Hungarian Boxing Association is Mr. Istvan Kovacs, the former Olympic, World and European Champion boxer since the elections which was held in Budapest last month.

The Hungarians earned three quotas for the Paris Olympic Games and their Luca Hamori (women’s 66kg) and Richard Kovacs (men’s 63.5kg) reached the quarter-finals in the most important event of the cycle this July-August.

The salary for the position is based on experiences, management, language and other skills, degrees and the negotiations between the parties.
