Aliyev, Buza, Juratoni and Kiss are the first champions of the Hell Boxing Kings

After a long season, the finals approached at the Hell Boxing Kings in the DVTK Arena in Miskolc, Hungary where Roy Jones Jr. was the special guest of the competition. Hungary’s duo Rafael Buza and Levente Kiss, furthermore Romania’s Bogdan Juratoni and Azerbaijan’s Tayfur Aliyev became the first champions.

Azerbaijan’s European Games bronze medallist and Tokyo Olympian Tayfur Aliyev is a top star in the first season of the Hell Boxing Kings and he had all of the advantages against Hungary’s Kruzito Kovacs, The Azeri used his brilliant footwork in the fifth and sixth rounds and he controlled the full final to be the champion at the lightweight.

Hungary’s Rafael Buza is only 20-year-old but he had more than 150 bouts during his career and he managed his pathway to the welterweight final relatively easily. His final opponent was Czechia’s Petr Novak who has experiences from the European Boxing Championships and he eliminated Slovakia’s Juraj Bona in the last four. Buza used his excellent tempo to overcome his Czech opponent from the first seconds and his confident performance delivered for him the title of the Hell Boxing Kings.

Romania’s veteran Bogdan Juratoni returned to the boxing events due to the Hell Boxing Kings and he eliminated one of the top names in the semi-finals, Azerbaijan’s No.1, Kamran Shakhsuvarly who earned medals in the Rio Olympics, World and European Championships as well. The 34-year-old middleweight boxer defeated Hungary’s Soma Mester in the middleweight final, stopping his opponent with heavy shots in the sixth round.

Hungary’s Levente Kiss has excellent results from the youth and U22 championships, he is Youth World bronze medallist and he had the advantage in terms of speed, routine and technical skills in the final against Slovakia’s Lukas Labasko. Kiss stopped the aggressive Slovakian with jabs and he had the good footwork to avoid Labasko’s attacks from the first seconds and won their battle by points decision.
