Catterall vs. Barboza Jr. on February 15 in a world title eliminator

Jack Catterall (30-1, 13 KOs) will face Arnold Barboza Jr. (31-0, 11 KOs) on February 15 in Manchester.
Catterall wanted a world title fight after his win over Regis Prograis in October.

But, a shot to a world title belt have to wait. Catterall will be up against tough Barboza Jr.

Teofimo Lopez is WBO World champion in super-lightweight division, Barboza Jr. is nr. 1 ranked and Catterall is nr. 2. Fight will be a final eliminator for a shot at WBO title.

Promoter Eddie Hearn wanted the fight between Catterall and Lopez. Also was mentioned a fight for IBF title.
