Kyrgyzstan’s female boxing life is in developing stage

The Aybek Abdymomunov Prizes Tournament was held in the Kozhomkul Hall in the capital city of the Kyrgyz Republic, in Bishkek.

The boxers who were born in 2007 and in 2008, had the right to participate in the Aybek Abdymomunov Prizes Tournament. Altogether 219 youth boxers competed for the 22 titles in Bishkek which event was the first selection for this age group’s actions in 2025.

The women’s boxing is in developing stage in Kyrgyzstan and high number of girls participated in the Abdymomunov Prizes Tournament. The 46 female boxers competed for the 10 available gold medals from the minimumweight (48kg) up to the middleweight (75kg).

Their Aliya Saaliyeva is a National Champion and the 16-year-old talent proved top performance once again in her quick final against Sedep Bekmurzayeva at the minimumweight (46kg).

Bishkek’s ASBC competitor Aysezim Kushubekova also has strong experience from the previous events but she needed to do her very best against Zhamila Ismatova.

Naryn region’s Adinay Kaparova had a tough but successful mission against Diana Muratova of the Issyk-Kul region at the flyweight (52kg) final.   

Batken region’s youth national team member Zarina Kurbanova had a tight success over Elizaveta Lyneva in the semi-finals of the women’s featherweight (57kg) but she stopped Alina Sizonenko in the final of the competition.

Chui region’s Adelya Asylbek Kyzy stopped both of her opponents in the women’s lightweight (60kg), while Zarina Asanova (70kg) and Chynara Akhmataliyeva (75kg) also won their title contests by RSC.
