Muratalla could fight Abdullaev for IBF Interim lightweight title

Raymond Muratalla (22-0, 17 KOs) could fight Zaur Abdullaev (20-1, 12 KOs) for interim IBF title, “The Ring” confirmed.

IBF ordered the fight and both sides are in negotiation. Muratalla is nr. 4 in IBF ranking and is presented by Top Rank. Abdullaev is nr 2 in IBF ranking. Title is held by Vasiliy Lomachenko (18-3, 12 KOs).

Promotion of Abdullaev, RCC Boxing, confirmed that talks are ongoing for the possible fight.

Winner of the fight has to face Lomachenko before October 8, 2025.
