The 15th Golden Girl Box Cup will be the highlight of the week
After the registration process, 437 boxers entered to participate in the upcoming 15th Golden Girl Box Cup in Boras, Sweden which event will be the highlight of the week.
The next 15th edition of the strong Golden Girl Box Cup will take place in Boras, Sweden between January 30 and February 3 in 2025.
The city of Boras is located in the southern part of Sweden, near to Gothenburg which has a huge international airport.
The first competition day will be held on January 31, the gala event on February 1 while the finals and the awarding ceremonies on February 2.
The Technical Delegate of the competition will be Mrs. Susanne Karrlander of Sweden but the President of World Boxing, Mr. Boris Van der Vorst from the Netherlands will also visit the 15th Golden Girl Box Cup.
Mr. Ray Husac is the organizer of the competition and he built up a big brand name for the Golden Girl in the last decade.
The new Golden Girl Box Cup is open for all of the clubs, and national federations worldwide to make a fantastic competition.
The 15th Golden Girl Box Cup will feature for all of the age groups including the elite, youth, junior and schoolgirls as well.
Several of the weight categories will be divided into two groups due to the high number of participants in Boras as in the previous years.
Team Australia also joined the event for the very first time, the country is planning to send seven elite boxers to the competition.
Algeria and Morocco will also compete in the next edition of the Golden Girl Box Cup, the two top African nations are expecting medals in Boras.
Norway’s Madeleine Angelsen is the current Golden Girl but she can expect strong opponents at the women’s elite welterweight (66kg).
Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and others will also compete in Boras.
