The Technical Meeting confirmed the participation of 166 boxers at the Boxam Tournament

Seventeen countries are participating in the new edition of the Boxam Tournament in La Nucia, Alicante region in Spain which opened with its Technical Meeting and Official Draw.

Before the competition, the International Training Camp was held with the participation of top nations in La Nucia in the previous one week.

Regarding the Boxam Elite Tournament, 166 boxers have registered to the competition which will be held in La Nucia from February 3 until the 9^th.

The traditional Boxam Tournament is one of the opening competitions in the year of 2025.

Mr. Viorel Sima is the Technical Delegate of the Boxam Tournament in Spain who led the Technical Meeting in the Melia Benidorm Hotel today.

Mr. Felipe Martinez, the President of the Spanish Boxing Federation, welcomed all of the participants in the competition.

Bangladesh, China, Ecuador, England, Georgia, Hungary, IBA Neutral, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Palestine, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Ukraine and Wales are the participating nations.

The participation status, the boxers’ eligibility, the venue, the daily weigh-in, the key technical and competition rules, the live scoring, the warnings, the prohibited activities, the uniforms’ guidelines, the equipment, medical and anti-doping procedure, the medal ceremonies, the PR rules, the opening ceremony and the code of conduct all have been introduced during the Technical Meeting.

The women’s will compete in the event with headgears according to the negotiation in the Technical Meeting. La Nucia Sports Hall is the venue of the Boxam Tournament with the capacity of 3,000 seats.
