Usyk expects to have only two more fights before retiring
Heavyweight unified champion Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) expects to have two more fights before he retires from boxing.
Speaking for “Sky Sports”, 38-year-old says he will fight against the winner of Daniel Dubois vs. Joseph Parker fight. Dubois will defend IBF title on February 22 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Usyk holds other major belts (WBC, WBA, WBO and IBO). So fight with winner of Dubois – Parker will be for undisputed heavyweight title.
Usyk became undisputed champion in May last year after beating Tyson Fury, but then he vacated IBF belt.
He was undisputed also in cruiserweight division.
“I will fight who will win, Joseph Parker, Daniel Dubois, no problem,” Usyk told Sky Sports.
Usyk says he feels great and that he has max two fights in his career.
“I think two years, one and a half [left in boxing],” Usyk said.
“I feel great myself. I feel I have two fights to prepare [for], not more. Just two.”
