Nakatani with impressive KO win against Cuellar

Junto Nakatani (30-0, 23 KOs) stopped David Cuellar Contreras (28-1, 18 KOs) in three rounds and defended his WBC World bantamweight title on Monday in Ariake Arena, Tokyo, Japan.

Nakatani started the fight fast and Cuellar couldn’t handle the pressure. He dropped Cuellar with a strong left in round three and Mexican couldn’t beat the count. Next for Nakatani is expected to be unification against IBF Champion Ryosuke Nishida.

Nishida got up in the ring after Nakatani win and they agreed to fight.

In same event the WBA World bantamweight title fight between Seiya Tsutsumi (12-0-3, 8 KOs) and Daigo Higa (21-3-2, 19 KOs) ended in a draw.

Tenshin Nasukawa (6-0, 2 KOs) defeated Jason Moloney (27-4, 19 KOs) via unanimous decision.
