Mr. Emanuele Renzini – Hungarian Boxing has strong tradition and I accepted their proposal

One of the experienced and world-class trainers, Mr. Emanuele Renzini became the new head coach in the Hungarian elite national team and he has strong plans to develop their talents in the upcoming years.

Mr. Renzini worked well to build up the Italian female team since 2009 and he reached several strong highlights with them as Technical Director between 2021 and 2024.

The 69^th Bocskai Memorial Tournament was held in Debrecen, Hungary as all of the previous competitions but the date moved to March 10-16. Mr. Renzini followed and watch the contests in the Bocskai Memorial to analyse the performance of the Hungarian boxers.

“I took up this new challenge to be the head coach in Hungary with great enthusiasm. Mr. President of the Hungarian Boxing Association Mr. Istvan Kovacs, who has just taken office, started with clear ideas, he has major development projects, and this is why I decided to accept his proposal.

After carefully viewing the performance of the Hungarian boxers, I realized that from a technical point of view, the quality is high. On the other hand, Hungarian boxing has an important history and tradition.

A good planning of training and competitions, combined with joint training with teams of high technical level, I am sure I will make the definitive leap in quality to our boxers.

The goal for 2025 is the World Boxing Championships that will take place in Liverpool in September 4-14. The first men’s and women’s Elite training camp is scheduled for the end of March and several others will follow them.

About six months separate us from our main goal, this is not too much but I am sure it will be enough to present a young and strong team in Liverpool that will make its best in the championship,” said Mr. Emanuele Renzini after the Bocskai Memorial Tournament.
