Slovenia and Germany won their first bouts in Budva on Session4

Slovenia and Germany won their first contests during the fourth session of the European U15 Boxing Championships in Budva.

England’s Thomas Catanach landed the stronger and better punches than Turkey’s Omer Kenan Dogan and he started his campaign with a stoppage victory.

Ireland’s Patrick Casey looked confident from the first seconds against Latvia’s Silvestrs Vasilevskis and he moved forward without any stoppage therefore the Spartacus BC boxer won this 44kg contest by large margin of difference.

Lithuania’s Vakaris Kiseliunas used his height advantage and he stopped Hungary’s Sandor Harkaly in the first round in their 48kg preliminary bout.

Ireland’s Zac Creighton and Latvia’s Luka Bondarenko both won their openers in Budva yesterday. The Irish found the best weapon against the Latvian talent quickly and he was able to continue the same strong performance until the last gong.

Hungary’s Ruben Nagy gained the control in the first round against Kosovo’s Drilon Thaqi and he stepped into the gas in the second. The referee counted the Kosovan in the second once and the Hungarian finished their 50kg battle in the third round.

Italy’s Alessandro Falcone won the first round against Latvia’s Braiens Bigelis with technician performance but the Baltic boxer switched into a higher tempo in the second and he stopped his Italian opponent.

Slovenia’s Maik Stojnic used his longer reach against Montenegro’s Tarik Mukovic well enough to win his nation’s first bout in Budva. Turkey’s Omer Celik won the next 60kg contest in the session, he bowed out Israel’s Magd Khatib by unanimous decision.

After Azerbaijan’s Amid Alakbarov’s RSC triumph, Kirill Sawazki achieved the first success for Germany while Hungary’s Richard Kovacs looked very confident in the last bout of the session.
