Venezuela and Colombia are the best nations at the Bolivarian Games after all of the semi-finals have finished

All of the semi-finals of the Bolivarian Games have concluded in Peru where Venezuela and Colombia were the bests in the recent four competition days.

Peru’s Ayacucho is the host of the multisport event where boxing is one of the sports in the agenda.

Barbados, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Curacao, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Jamaica, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Trinidad & Tobago, Uruguay and Venezuela have the right to compete in the Bolivarian Games.

Venezuela’s Irismar Cardozo had the advantage in terms of routine but she had to do her very best to beat Colombia’s young talent Yerlin Quinones, who replaced their legend, the Olympic and World medallist Ingrit Valencia at the women’s 51kg.

Ana Baylon is only 20-year-old and she joined the national team this year but she had the remarkable performance against Dominican Republic’s Elen Roble to advance to the final of the women’s 51kg.

Paraguay’s Minerva Montiel earned several historic results for her country in the recent years and she marched to the final of the women’s 57kg after beating Peru’s Nahum Puentes.  

Colombia’s Valeria Arboleda and Venezuela’s Krisandy Rios both are big names in the women’s 60kg but they had to meet each other already in the semi-finals. The Venezuelan was slightly better on their meeting and she will face for the title Dominican Republic’s Katherine Bera.

Colombia’s Camila Camilo progressed a lot in terms of strength she proved that with a stoppage against Venezuela’s Genesis Palma, which means that the star will meet Maria Chiroy of Guatemala for the 65kg title.

Guatemala’s No.1, Jose Felipe Mijangos delivered a sensational performance to neat Panama’s Luis Pachay and he can test himself in the final of the men’s 55kg against Venezuela’s Andres Cova.
