Nur Turan stuns Ferreira, Walker stops McCormack

Elif Nur Turhan (12-0, 8 KOs) of Turkiye claimed the IBF World lightweight title, dethroning Brazilian Beatriz Ferreira (8-1, 2 KOs) on Saturday night in Monte Carlo. Nur Turhan stopped Ferreira in round five. She dropped the Brazilian in round one and then again in round fight, and referee Diana Drews Milani decided to stop the fight.

Conah Walker (17-3-1) KO’d Pat McCormack (8-1) in 12 and last round in the fight for IBF Inter-Continental and WBA International welterweight titles.

Shabaz Masoud (15-0) won the EBU European super-bantamweight title, defeating via unanimous decision Peter McGrail (12-2). Show was promoted by Matchroom.
