Holzken vs. Ay on February 7 for WBF super-middle title

The now 42-year-old Dutchman Nieky “The Natural” Holzken (15-1 in pro boxing) goes for the vacant WBF super middleweight title against German Besir Ay (20-2) on February 7 in Helmond, Netherlands.

Holzken lost to Callum Smith back in 2018 in what was the semi-final of the WBSS tournament (and also for the WBC Diamond title) in a fight where he came in as a late sub for German Juergen Braehmer.

After that Holzken stopped Bernard Donfack but then left boxing for a continued career in kickboxing but last year Dutchman returned to professional boxing and beat Edison Demaj in a fight for the vacant WBF I-C title.
