Navarro Jr. mandatory challenger of Troy Williamson for EBU title

EBU super-middle champ Troy Williamson (22-4-1) now has Spaniard Jose Luis Navarro Jr (17-2) as a mandatory challenger.

Navarro Jr has thus relinquished the EBU Silver title and his defense against Damian Biacho scheduled for February 22 is cancelled.

The EBU has set January 28 as the deadline for purse bids for the fight between Williamson and Navarro Jr.

Williamson won the title late last year with a come from behind stoppage of Callum Simpson in Leeds.
