The upcoming Golden Girl Box Cup exceeded the registrations of 500 women boxers

The number of the registered boxers exceeded the magical 500, already 513 athletes are on the board and the registrations are still open until January 19. Altogether record number of 29 countries entered to the 16th Golden Girl Cupwhich marks another milestone in the event.

The 16th Golden Girl Box Cup will take place in its original venue in Boras, Sweden between January 29 and February 2 in 2026 and the registrations are still open for all of the National Federations and boxing clubs.

Belgium, Canada, Cape Verde, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, England, Estonia, Ethiopia, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Nepal, the Netherlands, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sri Lanka, host Sweden, Switzerland, and the United States have already registered boxers but more participants and National Federations will join the event in the upcoming four weeks.

England’s U19 World Champion and multiple European Champion Ruby White will be making her elite debut just in the Golden Girl in Sweden.

Norway’s 20-year-old Sofia Stigen Sorensen, a Youth World medallist, is a new boxer in the list of the competitors but many top future hope joined the event in the recent days.
