Itauma injured, fight against Franklin now scheduled for March 28
Heavyweight prodigy Moses Itauma (13-0, 11 KOs) had to rescheduled his fight against Jermaine Franklin Jr (24-2) because of injury he sustained during training camp.
Promoter Frank Warren announced that the fight that was supposed to be held on January 24 now will be rescheduled for March 28. Fight will be held in Manchester.
“Moses Itauma has sustained an injury in camp for his fight with Jermaine Franklin on January 24. Due to this, the whole Magnificent 7 show has been postponed and moved to the new date of 28th March at Co-op Live in Manchester”, Queensberry Promotion informed.
Itauma last fought on August last year when he stopped Dillian Whyte in first round. Franklin defeated in September the Kazakh Ivan Dychko via unanimous decision.
