Mr. Krasimir Ininski was re-elected as President of the Bulgarian Boxing Federation
The Bulgarian Boxing Federation arranged its General Meeting in Sofia and Mr. Krasimir Ininski was re-elected once again for the upcoming five years of term.
Mr. Krasimir Ininski was re-elected for the third time with full unanimity as the President of the Bulgarian Boxing Federation. The General Meeting was held at the Park-Hotel “Moscow”.
All delegates who attended the meeting voted “in favor” of the candidacy of the current President. Mr. Krasimir Ininski. The Management Board of the Bulgarian Boxing Federation was also re-elected for the upcoming five years.
“I thank for the Bulgarian Boxing Family for the complete unanimity that voted for me. I most responsibly declare to everyone that I will continue to work for the prosperity of Bulgarian Boxing and therefore together, as one family, let us move forward and create history.
We have achieved a lot during these years together, but we have still room for the further development. We have taken the right direction and I am glad that we are all working together for the development of our beloved sport,” said Mr. Krasimir Ininski after the election.
The top Bulgarian boxers earned medals in the recent World Boxing Championships in Liverpool, they had record-breaking quotas at the Paris Olympics and European Champions in all age groups of the sport.
Bulgaria’s star, Radoslav Rosenov defended his throne at the European U23 Boxing Championships in Budapest where he claimed his eighth continental title.
The first major event of the Bulgarians, the Strandja Memorial Tournament will be coming soon in Sofia end of February.
The next edition of the European Elite Boxing Championships will take place in Sofia on September 15-26 in 2026 which means this important event returns to Bulgaria after 11 years of break.
