Muratalla defeats Cruz, defends IBF World title
Raymond Muratalla (24-0, 17 KOs) defended his IBF World lightweight title on Saturday night in Las Vegas. He defeated Andy Cruz of Cuba (6-1, 3 KOs), the Olympic gold medalist from Tokyo 2020, via majority decision.
Two judges saw Muratalla as winner, scoring the fight 116:112 and 118:110, and one judge scored the fight as draw 114:114.
In co-main event Khalil Coe (11-1-1) defeated Jesse Hart (31-4) via majority decision (96:92, 94:94 and 95:93).
Fight was supposed to be for WBC USA Light-heavyweight title, but Coe was overweight so fight was on line only for Hart.
Israil Madrimov (11-2-1) defeated Luis David Salazar (20-2) wia unanimous decision in 10-rounder in middleweight division.
