The Press Conference of the Dracula Open Tournament confirmed the participation of more than 450 boxers from 18 nations

The next edition of the Dracula Open Tournament will be starting with its first competition day in Ploiesti on February 16.

The Press Conference of the Dracula Open Tournament introduced the participation of more than 450 boxers from 18 nations.

One of the top non-elite competitions in the world, the Dracula Open will be held for the U19 youth, the U17 junior and the U15 schoolgirls and schoolboys in Ploiesti.

The Mayor of the city of Ploiesti Mr. Mihai Politeanu, the President of the Romanian Boxing Federation, Mr. Prof. Vasile Citea and Mr. Titi Tudor also participated in the Press Conference of the event.

Ploiesti is the city of the hub between two important regions and it is located near to the Romanian capital, the distance from Bucharest is only 56km north.

Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan are the 18 registered nations to the Dracula Open Tournament.

The last edition of the Dracula Open Tournament was a great success for the organizers, participating teams and the local boxing fans one year ago.
