Opetaia vs. Glanton for inaugural Zuffa cruiserweight title

IBF World cruiserweight champion Jai Opetaia (29-0, 23 KOs) will face Brandon Glanton (21-3, 18 KOs) for inaugural Zuffa Boxing Cruiserweight World Championship. Fight will be held on March 8 at Meta Apex in Las Vegas.

Opetaia signed with Zuffa Boxing last month. He is the first major signing for the new boxing promotion helmed by UFC CEO, Dana White.

In the announcement of Zuffa Boxing wasn’t mentioned the IBF title, but it’s expected to be on the line.

Opetaia last defended the IBF title on December, stopping Huseyin Cinkara in round eight.
