Smith vs. Morrell for WBO Interim world title

Callum Smith (31-2, 22 KOs) will fight David Morrell (12-1, 9 KOs) on April 18 in Liverpool for WBO Interim World light-heavyweight title.

Will be main event of the show promoted by Matchroom. Event will be live on DAZN.

Smith won the WBO Interim title on February last year, beating Joshua Buatsi via unanimous decision.

Former world champion Morrell last fought on July beating Imam Khataev via split decision. His only loss came from David Benavidez on February last year, when he lost via unanimous decision in the fight for WBA World and WBC Interim World light-heavyweight titles.
