Wood beats Warrington for the second time

Leigh Wood (29-4, 17 KOs) defeated Josh Warrington (32-5-1, 8 KOs) for the second time.

Wood on Saturday night in Nottingham won clearly via unanimous decision in the rematch between two former world champions. Judges scored the fight (119:110, 117:111 and 119:109) for Wood.

The first fight between the two, Wood won on October 2023 via TKO.

On co-main event on Saturday night Bilal Fawaz (11-1-1) defeated Ishmael Davis (15-4) via majority decision in the fight for BBBofC British and Commonwealth Boxing Council super-welterweight titles.
