The final line-ups are confirmed at the Moldavian Belt Tournament

The final line-ups are confirmed in the Moldavian Belt Youth & Junior Tournament where all of the women’s, junior and youth title bouts will be held on Sunday afternoon.

Bence Szocs represented Romania in the recent European Junior Championships and the 15-year-old boxer marched to the final of the junior pinweight (46kg) following his success over Razvan Panainte.

Romania’s current European Junior Champion, Fabian Stroe had a tough and experienced opponent from Kazakhstan, Ramazan Orynbasar, but he had the technical skills and the stamina in the third round to beat his Central Asian opponent.

A Kazakh final will feature at the junior bantamweight (54kg) in Iasi where Bauyrzhan Muratov and Nurassyl Tulebek joined the title contest which could be an important selection meeting between them.

Marian Petrache, a strong Romanian talent, eliminated Kazakhstan’s Alikhan Asker in a narrow contest at the junior featherweight (57kg) and he will now meet for the title his teammate, Ciprian Iofciu.

Italy’s Giuseppe Cavallo eliminated a Kazakh hope, Anuarbek Marat at the junior lightweight (60kg) while his teammate, Aharon Corona also marched to the finals of the heavyweight (+80kg) in Iasi.

Kazakhstan’s multiple international tournament winner Beksultan Kairatuly, a super talented 16-year-old heavyweight (+80kg) boxer, shocked his semi-final opponent, Denis Cristian Cucu of Romania and he joined the final line-ups.
