Maliqaj stops Radulovic, wins IBO International title
Egzon Maliqaj (14-1-1) is the new IBO International middleweight champion. 32-year-old beat Novak Radulovic of Serbia on December 16 in Klingnau, Switzerland by stoppage in ninth round.
Kosovan-Swiss Maliqaj dropped Radulovic twice in ninth round and won his first title in professional boxing career. In undercard Angel Roque (7-0) won by TKO in sixth round over German Dustin Ammann (10-14).
Mersim Zeqiri (4-0) stopped in first round Bulgarian Georgiev Nedelin (0-1) and Seid Dzemaili (10-1) returned after nearly four years out of ring. He beat on points Croatian Aron Vrnoga (2-3).
