Tszyu set to defend WBO Super-Welterweight title against Thurman
Australian Tim Tszyu will defend his WBO World super-welterweight title against Keith Thurman on 30 March in Las Vegas, sources told “ESPN”.
It will be PBC’s first pay-per-view event as part of its new deal with Amazon’s Prime Video.
Tszyu (24-0) said after win against Brian Mendoza in October that he would continue career in USA.
He is the son of Hall of Fame boxer Kostya Tszyu.
Keith Thurman (30-1) didn’t fight since February 2022, when he beat by unanimous decision Mario Barrios. His only loss came from hands of Manny Pacquiao in July 2019.
