The three Asian Championships in 2024 are confirmed
The Asian Boxing Confederation announced its championships for 2024, all of the dates and venues have been confirmed this week.
The Asians are strong impacts in the world’s boxing life, their boxers shined in the previous Olympic Games, World Boxing Championships, Women’s World Boxing Championships and Youth World Boxing Championships.
There will be Asian Championships for the elite, U22, youth, junior, schoolboys and schoolgirls age groups as well and for both genders in 2024.
The ASBC Asian U22 and Youth Boxing Championships will take place in Kazakhstan’s capital, in Astana between April 25 and May 10. The Asian Boxing Confederation decided to host the event for the U22 and youth boxers together and the Asian Championships will return to Kazakhstan’s heart.
The ASBC Asian Junior and Schoolboys and Schoolgirls Boxing Championships will be held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates between August 21 and September 3. There will be the very first schoolgirls championships for the Asian talents and the second edition for the schoolboys after the 2019 Kuwait City competition. The competition will be the biggest ever boxing event which was ever hosted in the city of Abu Dhabi.
The ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships for the top female and male boxers will take place in Amman, Jordan from November 30 until December 12. After the Paris Olympics, all of the boxers will have more than three and half months to recover and prepare for the ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships which return to Amman.
