Magnesi vs. Rikiishi on March 22 for WBC Silver title

Michael Magnesi (23-1) will fight Japan’s Masanori Rikiishi (14-1) on March 22, for WBC Silver super-featherweight title.

The winner of fight in Lazio, Italy will make a big step towards a world title fight.

Magnesi last defended his WBC Silver title on October last year, winning via unanimous decision over Nike Theran.

“Lone Wolf” is number 7 in WBC ranking. Rikiishi is in sixth position. He is also in tenth position in WBO rankings, since he holds WBO Asia-Pacific title.
