The European Youth Boxing Championships will start with its first competition day on April 4
The European Youth Boxing Championships will be opening in Porec, Croatia with its first competition day on April 4. Twenty-five female and male champions will be crowned in this youth competition which is the first European Championships of the year.
The Sport Entries Check is on April 2-3 and following the process, the Technical Meeting, the Official Draw and the Opening Ceremony will take place tomorrow.
Croatia hosted several European Championships for various age groups in the previous years and their last organization was the European U22 Boxing Championships in Porec two years ago.
The 2006 and 2007 born boxers are eligible to participate at the EUBC Youth European Boxing Championships in Porec.
The women boxers will compete in their twelve official categories from the minimumweight (48kg) up to the heavyweight (+81kg). The male boxers will fight in this championships from the minimumweight (48kg) up to the super heavyweight (+92kg) in Porec.
Albania, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, England, Estonia, France, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine are planning to compete for the titles in Porec.
Several of the stars from the last edition and from the recent European Junior Boxing Championships will compete in this outstanding event.
The European Youth Boxing Championships is one of the preparation competitions for the upcoming Youth World Boxing Championships which will feature also in Croatia later this year in the end of October and beginning of November.
The Nations Women’s Cup, the Dracula Open Tournament, the Adriatic Pearl Youth Boxing World Cup and the Danas Pozniakas Youth Tournament were the main preparation events for this European Youth Boxing Championships.
