El Garmaoui and Rigas are the new IBO International champions

Saturday night Bear Boxing Promotion, headed by former boxer Vartan Avetisyan, organized an event in Weilheim, Germany, where two of his prodigies have become IBO International champions. Germany’s unbeaten welterweight Adel El Garmaoui (12-0-0) fought the also unbeaten South African, Wassim Chellan (8-0-0) and won a close but deserved decision in a very entertaining and crowd pleaser fight.

Local favorite, super-middleweight Alexander Rigas (19-2-0), meet unbeaten Benjamin Blindert (14-0-2) in a German affair. Blindert refused to came out for the 9th round and Rigas was awarded the win by TKO.
