Kazakhstan’s legend Golovkin still fighting on
Gennady Golovkin is not done fighting. While he may or may not return to the ring,
he is now battling to keep boxing in the Olympics. As the head of Kazakhstan’s National
Olympic Committee, Golovkin is working to ensure boxing remains part of the Games,
especially with the IOC’s issues with the International Boxing Association.
He believes boxing’s Olympic presence is crucial for the sport’s future and is committed to fighting
corruption to protect it. Golovkin will be in Paris discussing solutions and urges athletes
to embrace the Olympic ethos and integrity.
