Uldedaj stops Ward, wins IBF International title

Albania’s cruiserweight Juergen Uldedaj (18-1) outboxed and stopped Britain’s Steven Ward (14-3) on Friday night (19 June) in Dubai. The fight for vacant IBF International cruiserweight title, Uldedaj decided for himself in fifth round.

Ward took the fight in short notice after Italian Claudio Squeo (16-0) had to withdraw because of an injury.

For Uldedaj is another title in his pro boxing career. He won IBO Mediterranean title and WBA Continental Europe title. Uldedaj is rated in WBA ranking.
