Poland will compete with five experienced boxers in the Paris Olympics
Poland was successful in the qualification events for the Paris Olympics and five of their boxers bagged quotas for the Games.
Poland hosted the European Games on June-July 2023 but surprisingly their boxers were unable to earn any spots for the Paris Olympics.
Following their perfect preparations, and huge efforts, two male and three female Polish boxers qualified for Paris through the 1st and 2nd World Olympic Boxing Qualifying Events.
Poland competed at the boxing events of the Olympic Games 21-times between 1924 and 2021 during their long and successful history.
Poland earned 8 gold, 9 silver and 26 bronze medals during the Olympic boxing events and the country is the No.8 in the overall ranking.

Jozef Grudzien claimed also two medals in boxing, a gold and a silver while Marian Kasprzyk and Jerzy Rybicki both earned one gold and one bronze medal in their Olympic performance.

The 21-year-old Julia Szeremeta is a new face in the elite national team, who exceeded all of the expectations and she qualified at the women’s featherweight (57kg) through Busto Arsizio.
Damian Durkacz is able to prepare to his second Olympic Games and the 25-year-old light middleweight (71kg) boxer is in top shape. Their second male boxer will be a younger talent, the European Games bronze medallist Mateusz Bereznicki at the heavyweight (92kg).
