IBF World title between Scull and Shishkin on October 19 in Berlin

Cuba’s William Scull (22-0, 9 KOs) will fight Russian Vladimir Shishkin (16-0, 10 KOs) on October 19 in Berlin, Germany for vacant IBF World super-middleweight title.

AGON Sports won the rights to organize the title fight.

IBF title became vacant after Saul “Canelo” Alvarez decided not to fight mandatory challenger Scull.

“It’s a big chance for me and my team, to win a world title. I’m fighting for my family, my team and all Cuba”, said Scull, which lives in Germany.

For promoter Ingo Volckmann is a big chance to show quality of his team.

“Fifth world title fight for AGON inside one year, shows how hard our team has worked. We are counting that the new IBF World champion will be from AGON team”, said Volckmann.
