Australia, New Zealand and Peru will also send boxers to Germany’s new U17 event to Lindow
The German Boxing Association will have a new event, the U17 Junior International Open Tournament in Lindow on September 22-27 to increase the experience of the youngest talents worldwide.
Australia, Czech Republic, Denmark, host Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru and Ukraine have already confirmed their participation in the new German international tournament.
Lindow is a small town in Brandenburg region and it is located in an isthmus between two lakes but most importantly, Germany’s capital, Berlin is very near.
Their management, the Secretary General Mr. Michael Mueller confirmed the dates and venues of their upcoming international competitions in 2024 still in February, their recent Brandenburg Youth Cup and the German Junior Open.
The young female and male boxers who were born in 2008 and in 2009 are eligible to compete at the German Junior International Open.
The German Junior Open Tournament will welcome the junior girls in eight weight categories: 48kg, 50kg, 52kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 63kg and 66kg.
The male boxers will be able to participate in this new international junior event in 12 weight categories: 46kg, 50kg, 52kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 63kg, 66kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg and +80kg.

September 23, 11:00 & 14:00 & 18:00 – Day1 competition
September 24, 11:00 & 14:00 & 18:00 – Day2 competition
September 25, 14:00 & 18:00 – Day3 competition
September 25, 14:00 & 18:00 – Day4 competition with the finals
September 26 – Departure of the delegations
