Gervonta Davis vs. Lamont Roach on December 14
Gervonta Davis (30-0, 28 KOs) will defend his WBA World lightweight title on December 14.
He will fight Lamont Roach (25-1-1, 10 KOs) the WBA World super-featherweight champion.
World Boxing Association informed that they gave approval for the fight to be held for WBA lightweight title.
“The World Boxing Association (WBA) Championships Committee has granted special permission to super featherweight world champion Lamont Roach Jr. to move up in class to face Gervonta Davis for the lightweight championship on December 14. If Roach beats Davis in the fight, he will be given five days to send his decision to the WBA on which of the two titles he will keep and defend.
