German Agon Sports, headed by Ingo Volckmann, staged seven shows during 2025. Two in Cuba, two at home in Germany, one in Benghazi (Libya), one in Buenos Aires and one in Madrid. For 2026 the year begins with a big heavyweight showdown as IBF International champ Granit Shala (18-1) defends the title against Croatian Petar Milas (19-1) in the chief support to WBC Interim heavyweight champ Agit Kabayel’s defense against Poland’s Damian Knyba in Oberhausen on January 10. On January 31, Agon and Cuban super-middle William Scull (23-1) gambles big time with a high-risk fight against WBO Global champ Jacob Bank (17-0) in Kolding (Denmark). Agon’s Germany-based Cuban heavyweight prospect Carlos Castillo (9-0) is in against former Italian champ Gianmarco Cardillo (12-2-1) on the undercard.
