Pero stops Aguilar in round two
Cuba’s heavyweight prodigy Dainier Pero (12-0, 9 KOs) stopped Mario Aguilar (23-11, 19 KOs) in round two in Philadelphia on Saturday night.
Aguilar retired after two rounds and didn’t come up to fight in round three.
Pero is number 7 in WBA ranking and is aiming for bigger challenges. 26-year-old had a tough fight in May last year when he was dropped twice in round three but in the end won via unanimous decision against Cesar Navarro.
