The famous Belgrade Winner Tournament will celebrate its 63rd edition on May 12-18
The 63rd edition of the Belgrade Winner Tournament will be held for the elite women and men boxers in the Serbian capital on May 12-18 this year.
The Belgrade Winner Tournament is one of the oldest international competitions in the entire world, next to the Strandja Memorial, the Bocskai Memorial, the Golden Gloves and the Bornemissza Tournament.
The women boxers will be able to compete in 10 categories in Belgrade: 48kg, 51kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg and +80kg.
The men athletes also will have 10 different weight classes: 50kg, 55kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg, 85kg, 90kg and +90kg.
The Belgrade Winner Tournament is a perfect preparation option for the main goals of the year such as the European Elite Boxing Championships which will take place in Sofia this September, the Commonwealth Games and the Asian Games.
Several of the Olympic Champions, World Champions and European gold medallists competed in the previous decades at the Belgrade Winner Tournament which has a bright history from the past.
The preliminary entries and the visa applications must be sent until April 18, while the final registrations are open until May 1.
The accommodation of the delegations during the event will be the S Club Resort Hotel Aqua Park & Spa in Serbia.
